Focus
Adults
I work with adults who are struggling with feeling sad, stressed, anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, shut down, or emotionally dysregulated. Often these struggles are tied to trauma.
Trauma has a profound impact on our sense of self, our relationships, and our outlook on the world. Our capacity to connect with our body and our emotions may be altered. The impact of trauma can disrupt our ability to regulate feelings, make us question who we are, and lower our self-esteem. In relationships, trauma can influence our capacity for connection. However, the painful experiences we have faced do not define us.
I provide a safe space where together we can explore what has happened. With support you can put words to your experiences, feelings, and needs. We will work together to strengthen your resources for coping and self-regulation. You can reconnect with lost aspects of yourself. Strengthening your body mind connection can help you be more present, open, and aware. When you know in your body that the painful experiences from the past are over, you can live more in the present and shift away from fear responses. Change becomes real when you feel embodied and empowered.
I work with people struggling with:
Trauma
Anxiety
PTSD
Depression

Teens
I provide therapy to high school teenagers aged 15 years and older.
My clinical experience includes supporting teens who are dealing with sadness, low motivation, trauma, difficulty managing stress, body image struggles, performance anxiety, social anxiety, conflict within relationships, and wanting to build self-confidence. Together we will work to embrace the “feels,” move away from unhelpful coping strategies, and towards emotional regulation techniques that will help you feel better.
I provide a safe and welcoming space for teens to get to know themselves on a deeper level, including exploration of their gender identity, gender expression, and sexuality. As a therapist I enjoy supporting teens who are in the process of figuring out what life after high school might look like. I have experience working with teens who are on a 504 plan or IEP.
I help teens:
Navigate Social Dynamics
Build Emotional Self-Expression
Develop Coping Tools
Heal from Trauma
Manage Stress
Process Divorce
Adjust to Blended Families
Improve Self-Esteem
